What can I learn in an hour?
Lots! We don’t do training by the hour, but we do offer coaching via Teams on an hourly basis. You can book these as a one-off for £320 just to pick Jeremy’s brains about an issue you have with your project. You could also use it as a refresher for a course you’ve recently completed with us, or to focus on one area of PM such as risk management.
But, by far the best way to book is in blocks of 5 for £300 a session, or a block of 10 which is £280 per session. With the block bookings you can use the sesions any way you like – an intensive course for one member of your team or share the love and give several members of your team a couple of sessions each. Use all your sessions in one month, spread them out over a year, it’s totally up to you.
We’ll invoice you for the full block after your first session and then you’re free to use them whenever suits you, we’re flexible folk. We might send you a reminder every now and then if we think you’ve forgotten so that you don’t waste your investment, but otherwise you’re the captain of the ship.
What can I learn in a day?
Loads! Our one-day project management fundamentals course called Practical Project Management – Rising Star covers all the basics including our Six Key Principles of Project Management (Vision, Benefits, Objectives, Time, Cost & Quality), defining your project scope, the project team – who should and shouldn’t be involved, and building your project schedule.
A one-day course costs £1,980 (plus travel expenses if you’re outside of London/the M25) for up to 12 delegates. It’s great for grounding non-PM staff in the project management mindset, and for giving new PMs (and seasoned ones) practical techniques to set your project up for success and get everyone speaking the same language. For a deeper knowledge of how to run your projects and fix issues along the way we recommend our 2- or 3-day courses, they’re corkers.
What can I learn in 2 days?
A huge amount! Our two-day course Practical Project Management – Shining Star covers all of the good stuff in the one-day course plus an intro to risk management, a project governance overview, project comms, and how to run a successful project. It is our most popular course by far.
This course gives you a comprehensive practical guide to setting up and running a project, hitting your milestones, dealing with issues when they arise and communicating effectively with stakeholders. Delegates will leave feeling confident and fired up to handle their projects with style using our free templates and checklists for reporting, budgeting and risk management, and with our handy lesson notes as a reminder of the techniques we’ve discussed.
A two-day course costs £3,560 (plus expenses outside of London/the M25) for up to 12 delegates. Lots of our clients like to use the 2-day course as a practical intro for all their new staff to set everyone off on the right foot and make sure all their PMs are singing from the same song sheet.
What can I learn in 3 days?
A tremendous amount! Our 3-day Practical Project Management – Super Star course covers EVERYTHING you need to know about running projects and making them successful.
After setting you up for project success with the first two days of the course, we use the third day to deepen your knowledge so you can anticipate problems and fix them before they become issues. We cover change management, managing project costs and how to manage multiple projects. Then we round the day off with a workshop so that your team can start to see how some of our techniques can work in practice.
Some people think that a steaming cup of Horlicks gives you a great night’s sleep, but we’re positive that really knowing your project management shizzle gives you a lot more happy zzzs. A three-day course costs £5,340 (plus expenses outside of London/the M25) for up to 12 delegates.
What’s this about a book?
Jeremy wrote a book, get him! The Everyday Project Manager was published in 2020 by Routledge Press and was a labour of love. Having spent much of his project management career training and mentoring new PMs, Jeremy decided to write down everything he’d taught and learnt along the way, and the book was born!
The book is an easy-to-read practical guide to project management, and some people have even said some nice things about it on Amazon. You can buy a copy directly from us here, or from book shops. You can also add books to your training package at a discount if you’d like to provide one for each of your team to read after their course.
